%X A new name of Cephalotaxaceae, <em>Cephalotaxus talonensis</em> Cheng et Feng ex S. G. Lu et X. D. Lang, is reported to replace the illegitimate name, <em>Cephalotaxus lanceolata</em> K. M. Feng(1975), which is a later homonym of the name <em>Cephalotaxus lanceolata</em> Hort. ex Bei&beta;ner (1901). Additionally, based on comparison of leaf morphology and holotypes between <em>Cephalotaxus fortunei</em> Hooker and <em>C.lanceolata</em> K. M. Feng, we support that <em>C.lanceolata</em> K. M. Feng should be treated as rank of species, and disagreed with the argument that Silba (1990) reduced <em>C.lanceolata</em> K. M. Feng to <em>C.fortunei</em> Hooker var. <em>lanceolata</em> (Feng) Silba. In this paper, four new pictures are provided.
